Shy Mukerjee - Shy is the Online Editor of Small Biz Go Mobile. Previously, Shy worked as a Systems Administrator for NASA’s Advanced Camera for Surveys. He holds his BA in Writing and Literature from Naropa University in Boulder, Colorado. While at Naropa, he co-directed, filmed and edited the documentary The Poets of Skid Row, giving voice to the homeless and formerly homeless poets of downtown Los Angeles. Song Hia - Song is a freelance writer living in Brooklyn, NY specializing in technology, internet culture, and business. He also writes and produces the Digital Cafe, a weekly program with Mario Armstrong airing on Baltimore NPR affiliate WYPR during their broadcast of All Things Considered. Song volunteers doing community outreach and as web editor for Ignite NYC & he’s a big fan of cycling!
Terrance Gaines – Terrance is a technology evangelist who empowers the lives of people via his expertise with gadgets and consumer electronics. He’s a “Jack of All Tech” with his own technology consultant business (Tech Life Coach). He also posts daily technology commentary, tools, tips, news and reviews on his website, BrothaTech.com, in addition to writing for several tech-related online publications. He has also appeared on several tech radio shows and has presented at local technology events.
Justin Alcon is a Software Developer at blip.tv, the online media company that hosts, distributes, and monetizes the best original TV shows of the Web. At blip.tv Justin writes software for all aspects of the business, participates in events with content creators, media partners and advertisers, and occasionally throws (stuffed) monkeys at other developers. Before blip.tv, Justin held a series of different jobs while in college at Tulane University and the University of North Carolina, including flipping burgers. Justin’s ancestors came to the United States from China with P.T. Barnum’s traveling show and settled in Mt. Airy, NC in the mid 1800′s. Justin owns an impressive collection of T-shirts and is afraid of no language.
Nick Muntean is a Doctoral Candidate in the Media Studies program at the University of Texas at Austin, where he is currently in the late stages of writing a dissertation about the history of the consumer electronics industry. Recently, Nick served as a researcher and analyst for the development of a next-generation hybrid Internet/Cable TV service in Portugal. Prior to that, he wrote telecommunications-policy white papers for several broadband-policy think tanks.
Megan Fincher is a freelance photographer who works with Mario Armstrong Media, taking great photos of products at events. She recently returned to the states after almost two years teaching English in South Korea. She holds her MFA from Naropa University, writes poetry, and loves to travel.
