Some Cyber Monday Deals Worth Checking Out – 2016

Welcome to a quick guide to some deals you might want to check out this Cyber Monday. First up, if there were deals you missed out on during Black Friday, know that a lot of items sold on Black Friday are now back in stock, in-store and online, so definitely check again for any deals you might have missed out on. A couple of other sites you might find useful today:

1. @WirecutterDeals on Twitter has a lot of great real-time deals on stuff that’s been reviewed as the best products in their class. They spend dozens, sometimes hundreds of hours, reviewing products, and then scan tons of deals sites online, so if they say something is a good deal, you know you’re getting a great product for a great price.

2. Check for a coupon before you check out! I always like to use RetailMeNot (https://www.retailmenot.com/) before checking out on any site just in case there’s an additional coupon code or discount I might have missed.

Okay, on to the deals:

Tech Deals

Amazon Echo – $139 on Amazon ($40 off)

I’ve been talking about my Amazon Echo a lot lately (and talking to Amazon’s personal assistant, Alexa!) and still love this product. Click here to check out a recent video where I show off some of my favorite features.

Roku Streaking Stick – $35 on Roku.com, Amazon, others ($15 off)

Want to turn any TV into a streaming TV quick and cheap? Check out the Roku Streaming Stick. This is the latest model, packs quad core processor, and it’s ultra portable—you can unplug this thing in seconds and move it to a different Biggest feature in my mind is what they call the “unbiased, cross-channel search”: basically you use the built-in search on your Roku for a TV show or movie and see ALL of your options across all the channels and apps you have installed, so you can find out in seconds if it’s on Netflix, Amazon, Hulu or where you can go to rent or buy it and for how much it costs and get the best price.

Beats Ep — $30 off (Best Buy)
The new Beats Ep, a pair of wired headphones from the famous manufacturer, is the most affordable model of their on-ear headphones. Grab them in black, white, red or blue. Available for $30 off ($99) on Best Buy’s website and other stores.

$50 off Sonos Play:1 (Amazon link, $150, normally $200)
I gotta have music in every room of my house, and I want to be able to control it easily from any device, so I personally use a Sonos system. This way my son can be playing his music in the basement while I blast my tunes in the living room and kitchen, or we can have a party with the same music everywhere in the house. Pretty dope, and it works with almost every music service you can think of (Apple, Spotify, Pandora, Amazon, Google Play, TIDAL, tunein, SiriusXM, Soundcloud, need I keep going?). The Sonos Play: 1 is a Wi-Fi speaker and a great first piece to get your Sonos system started,
