Jim Kucher is the Executive Director of the Entrepreneurship Program at the University of Baltimore, Merrick School of Business. He was recently appointed to this academic post and brings to it a strong technology background, knowledge base and direct entrepreneurial experience. Jim brings experience as a managing partner of a city-based marketing and strategic advisory company for startup service firms and as the former President of Wickford Technologies –  a tech company that adapted Navy technology for Commercial use.  A couple of years ago, I was invited to see this technology in its beta stages and it was pretty amazing.
