Will we finally see some spam relief? I sure hope so because there are still enough people that are falling for the spam emails. I mean really, do you actually think if you send money or an account number to someone that they will give you back double in a few weeks? I’m being sarcastic here because their scams have actually come along way from those days, although people really did fall for those scams! Now these scams look very close to real correspondence from banks etc… they have become way more sophisticated & there are still enough people clicking links that making the spammers realize there is still a market!
A new “fight spam” project that was recently announced is a public-private partnership that combines Nigeria officials and Microsoft. The project is called “Eagle Claw” (what would you have named it?). The plan is to stop spam a much as possible, arrest spammers & ulimately get Nigeria off the Top 10 list!
