One of the biggest tech trends out there right now is toward the “quantified self,” the general term used to describe all the gadgets and apps out there for tracking your fitness, movement, calorie intake, etc. The HAPIfork is another (very specific!) example of this trend: it measure how fast you eat, giving you precise measurements of time between bites and how long your meal takes. MarioAtCES: New Sony Handycam Demo Video

Sony’s all over the place at CES, and they’re showing off their new Handycam digital cameras. They’ve got something called “Optical Steadyshot” designed to stabilize the image so that even if you’ve got shaky hands, you’ll be able to shoot video that isn’t bouncing around all the place.
