It’s still just a concept, but Whirpool’s got a table that can cook, keep things hot and keep things cool, all while the fam is sitting around for dinner. Watch the video to see how it works! My prediction? They’ll be on the market in three years – for a ton of money, anyway.

MarioAtCES: The Electronic HAPIfork Slows Down Your Eating
One of the biggest tech trends out there right now is toward the “quantified self,” the general term used to describe all the gadgets and apps out there for tracking your fitness, movement, calorie intake, etc. The HAPIfork is another (very specific!) example of this trend: it measure how fast you eat, giving you precise measurements of time between bites and how long your meal takes. This TV is beautiful. Seriously, it’s probably unlike anything you’ve ever seen. It’s got a picture quality that’s four times your normal 1080 HD TV, with deep contrast and eye-popping colors. People were mesmerized just watching and I totally get it!

No dogs were harmed in the making of this video! This tech is so new it’s still just a prototype, but soon we’re going to be able to strap a camera to a dog or to ourselves – anything!

Sony’s all over the place at CES, and they’re showing off their new Handycam digital cameras. They’ve got something called “Optical Steadyshot” designed to stabilize the image so that even if you’ve got shaky hands, you’ll be able to shoot video that isn’t bouncing around all the place. You’ve got to see it to believe it, so check out the video above for a demo.
