The #WorldWideWeb turns 25 years old today, and we’re celebrating on the TODAY show by highlighting some of the greatest inventions in the history of the web. The Top Bing Searches of 2013 (TODAY Show #OrangeRoom)

In the #OrangeRoom over the holidays, I talked to Craig Beilinson, Director of Bing Trends at Microsoft, to show off some of the top searches for 2013.

One key insight: the top searched person wasn’t Kim Kardashian, who has held that top spot for years, but instead it was Beyoncé, back on top again! Between the Super Bowl, baby Ivy, and the visual album dropping, it was a big big year for Bey.

Craig and I also dig into the top news stories and reveal what the most-searched morning news show was for 2013!

But parents also need to remember that children emulate their parents—if you’re on your smartphone throughout an entire dinner, how do you expect your kids will behave? On TODAY this morning I discuss these important #DigitalParenting issues, and offer advice for parents.
