“I want to put a ding in the universe.” – Steve Jobs

Steve will be missed but his words will be with us for a lifetime! One of my favorite Steve Jobs quotes is “I want to put a ding in the universe”.

Many of us wake up each day wanting to put a ding in the universe, no matter how big or small you identify your universe it doesn’t matter. What does matter is that you identify something to impact, whether it’s 1 person in your family, a local non-profit organization, your neighborhood community, a national or international business!

BOTTOM LINE: Make a DING in YOUR UNIVERSE! For other amazing quotes head over to macstories website.

Incredible innovator and relentless visionary Steve Jobs has died!

It is with a heavy heart that I am typing this post right now! My prayers go out to his family, friends and employees who knew him so well. At first like many of you I didn’t believe it. In fact at the time the news was coming in I was a guest on “Life Full Circle” talking about the iPhone 4 announcement and talking all Apple news. Then my phone, twitter and email started blowing up. I immediately checked around to make sure this was true, I thought for sure we’d have him for several more years even though we all know he was ill. A tech world without Steve Jobs presence is something that I just really couldn’t and didn’t want to imagine. The Apple.com website home page has reflected the news and posted this photo. We have lost a major innovator, visionary and instigator of change! Rest In Peace Steve, your body of work speaks for itself!

iPhone 4S has some nice camera upgrades

For some of us, the most compelling new feature of the iPhone 4S isn’t the debut of iOS 5 or the faster A5 processor. No, what I’m most excited about (and I know I’m not the only one) is the new, beefier camera. We’ve come a long way; ten years ago phone cameras were a joke, and now they’re the most popular camera on flickr.  The iPhone 4S’s camera upgrade shows us why.

First, the size: 8 megapixels. This is the most marketing-friendly upgrade, but in my opinion it’s the least important. Plenty of devices have high pixel counts, and the fact is you don’t need a high pixel count to take a quality photo. High pixel counts are really only necessary for very large photos with very large sensors, like DSLR-type cameras. Having a lot of pixels in a small space only helps the quality of shots that are blown up very large, which isn’t a common use of a phone snapshot. So what is important? Read More
