Not using the almighty Google Apps for your business but still want to take advantage of cloud storage when sending and receiving emails? The SugarSync cloud storage/syncing/collaboration service now offers Microsoft Outlook integration that allows users to add email attachments of any size straight from your SugarSync account.
SugarSync for Outlook works with Outlook 2007 and Outlook 2010 for Windows, and works on PCs running Windows XP, Windows Vista, and Windows 7. You have the option of sending a link to a file or the actual file itself as an attachment. The advantage to using SugarSync is that you can send a file of any size as an attachment and not worry about getting dinged with a “file size too large” auto-response email seconds after you hit send.
SugarSync for also has some additional features that can be taken advantage of right from Outlook:
– Backup all shared files to SugarSync from within Outlook
– Track the number of times a file you’ve shared is downloaded, and control shared files with the ability to disable SugarSync links anytime
– Any computer that is synced to your SugarSync account is available to you via Outlook, and can be shared with the click of a button
The SugarSync for Outlook plugin is available now as a FREE download from SugarSync’s site. So if you’re one of the Outlook faithful, but not quite ready to pay for Office 365, check out SugarSync and let us know what you think in the comment’s section.
